Products & fitting
Will pipe lagging stop my pipes freezing?
Lagging slows heat loss and buys time, but it does not heat the pipe. In a hard, prolonged freeze you should still drain or isolate vulnerable supplies. Think of insulation as protection and comfort, not a guarantee against freezing in extreme cold.
Do you sell heated trace cable or anything electric?
No. We only sell passive, DIY-safe protection. We never sell electric trace heating cable, gas components or pressurised parts.
How much will insulation save me on bills?
We don't quote savings figures. Real-world results depend entirely on your home, so any percentage would be misleading. Our products reduce heat loss and draughts — we'll let you judge the comfort difference.
Do I need tools?
Most items fit with scissors and a screwdriver. Cut-to-fit products (lagging, seal strip, garage seal) trim to length with household scissors.
Orders & payment
What currency are prices in?
Every price is shown and charged in US Dollars (USD), wherever you are in the world.
How do I pay?
Securely via Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card details. Charges appear as "YPHPLUMB STORE" on your statement.
Is checkout secure?
Yes — the whole site runs over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors.
Shipping & returns
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide from the UK. Shipping is free over $55 USD; under that a flat fee is shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 2–4 business days in the UK, 5–10 in Europe and 7–15 for the US and rest of world after dispatch. See the Shipping Policy for detail.
Can I return something?
Unopened items can be returned within 14 days. Cut-to-fit items that have been opened and cut can't be returned unless faulty. Full detail is in our Returns policy.
